While our primary focus revolves around utilizing locally sourced wood materials, we also explore other mediums to bring our creations to life.

Our Humble Beginning

Hazel's passion for art began in childhood, but financial hardship put her dreams on hold. Despite the challenges, she never stopped nurturing her talent and finding inspiration and support within her church community. At a young age, Hazel's desire to help her family fueled her entrepreneurial spirit. She sought ways to use her artistic skills to create and sell, dreaming of a future where she could support herself and her loved ones. Then, she met Francis, a talented woodcarver who shared Hazel's passion for art and her humble beginnings. Together, they found a way to turn their shared love for creativity into a livelihood.

Their journey wasn't easy, but their faith and determination propelled them forward. They built HirlyArts, a business based on the beauty and skill of their craft, connecting with clients who appreciate their art and the dedication behind it.

Hirly Arts embodies the essence of "The Art of Faith: A Soulful Expression." Hazel and Francis' story is a testament to the power of faith, passion, and hard work. Who We Are?

Hazel O. Cajumban – Proprietor

Hazel Cajumban, co-founder of HirlyArts, is a passionate artist and entrepreneur who embodies the spirit of "The Art of Faith: A Soulful Expression." Her lifelong passion for art began in childhood, but financial hardships initially hindered her pursuit of formal training. Despite challenges, she nurtured her talent through church activities and personal dedication.

After completing her mission, Hazel's entrepreneurial drive led her to connect talented artists with appreciative clients, a vision that became the foundation of HirlyArts. Together with her husband, Francis, a skilled wood carver, they built a platform that supports artists and provides them with the recognition and compensation they deserve. Through HirlyArts, Hazel continues to bridge the gap between creativity and appreciation, fulfilling her dream of supporting artists and sharing their unique talents with the world.

Francis Cajumban – Co-Proprietor

Francis Cajumban, a co-founder of HirlyArts, embodies the spirit of "The Art of Faith: A Soulful Expression" through his exquisite woodcarvings. His artistic journey began at a young age, fueled by a natural talent for art. At eight, Francis discovered a passion for drawing, possessing an innate ability to recreate cartoon characters from memory. While his initial dream of becoming a painter was hindered by limited opportunities, his artistic spirit found a new path through his father's craft – woodcarving.

At fifteen, Francis learned the art of sanding and varnishing under the patient guidance of his mother. His father, a master woodcarver, introduced him to the intricate techniques of woodcarving. At sixteen, Francis, with a strong sense of responsibility, had to forgo his formal education to help his father earn a living. He dedicated himself to assisting his father in various woodcarving jobs, honing his skills while providing for his family.

With over 20 years of experience, Francis has become a professional woodcarver whose dedication and passion are evident in every piece he creates. Each work is a testament to his unwavering belief in the power of art to uplift and inspire. Today, Francis continues to carve with purpose and passion, sharing his unique vision with the world through HirlyArts.

Joy V. Oserin – Sales & Marketing

Joy Valenzuela Oserin is a testament to the power of perseverance and faith. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work, assisting her parents in their humble general merchandise store. This experience instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep sense of responsibility. After graduating from college, Joy became the family's breadwinner, managing her father's business while pursuing her passion for education. She successfully passed the licensure exam for teachers and dedicated her life to shaping young minds.

Despite the challenges, Joy's unwavering faith and entrepreneurial spirit led her to grow her family's business, providing for her family and achieving financial stability. Today, she is a dedicated teacher, a successful entrepreneur, and a loving mother. Through her unwavering commitment to her family, community, and chosen professions, she embodies HirlyArts' tagline "The Art of Faith: A Soulful Expression."

Rasmus Molleno – Web Developer & SysAdmin

Rasmus, a passionate hobbyist painter since the age of 12 when he first learned oil painting, has combined his love for both art and technology to create this platform where artists can showcase and market their unique talents. Now working full-time as a full-stack web and application developer, Rasmus ensures that Hirly Arts' website is always running smoothly and ready to process your orders. In addition to being the lead technical consultant for Hirly Arts, he also provides tech expertise to various local businesses across different industries.

When he's not writing code, Rasmus enjoys quality time with his family. As a proud father of two teenagers who share his interests in art and technology, he cherishes nurturing their creative and technical abilities.
